Furniture veneering is a craft that has been practiced for centuries, marrying functionality and aesthetics in the world of interior design. Veneering involves applying a thin layer of wood or other material to a base to create a finished surface that resembles solid wood. This technique offers versatility in furniture design, allowing for intricate patterns, unique textures, and exotic wood species that may not be practicable or sustainable for solid wood furniture.

At P. R. Hall, we understand the artistry and skill required for quality veneering, ensuring  that each piece reflects meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our large veneer press allows us to efficiently produce the flat panels which are required in our exacting furniture making. We are also able to produce curved or shaped panels using jigs and moulds to create complex shapes and edges.
